At the time of the birth it was a popular earth quick which divided the earth ( Genesis 10.25 ) the scientists proclaimed that it was as a result of the Flood which occurred in Noah times because the water underneath the surface of the earth increased bit by bit till its pressure resulted that earth quick during Eber's days , Joktan was the grandfather of the Arabic people , his sons were Almodad , Shaleph , and Hzarmaveth and Jarah and Hadoram and Uzal and Obal and Abimael and Sheba and Ophir and Havilah and Jobab . The Bible told us that they lived between Mesh near Basra of Iraq today which was called Mesha and Oman's mountain which was called The Mountain Of The East afterwards they have spread in The Arabian Peninsula till they reached The mountains of El-Yaman to establish The Civilaization of Sheba their grandfather who was a son of Joctan . Peleg's son was Reu who has a son called Serug , Serug was the father of Nahor who called his son Tarah . At last Tarah was the father of Abram or Abraham and Haran and Nahor . Therefore Abraham was the twentieths person from Adam . He was in the Middle history between Adam and Jesus Christ .
